Candy Canes
Candy Canes puts a holiday spin on the classic game of Spoons! In this game, you have all of the players sit in a circle with a pile of candy canes in the center (you will have one less candy cane than the number of players). To start, each player is dealt four cards each. Once all of the players have their cards, the dealer will start picking one card off the top of the deck and either keep it or pass it along to the next person. If the dealer decides to keep the card they drew, then they would choose another card from their hand to pass to the person on their left.
The goal of the game is to collect four of the same card in your hand. The first person to reach four-of-a-kind will take a candy cane from the center of the table. You can either do this quickly or try to make it sneaky. Once the other players notice a candy cane is missing, everyone should take candy canes as fast as they can until the last person is left empty-handed. That person is out, and the game starts again with one less candy cane.

Depending on when your family plans to eat Thanksgiving dinner, you may want to start the festivities off with a few snacks, which is where this fun game comes into play! The turkey taste test game may take a few volunteers, as well as a small amount of planning prior to Thanksgiving.

However, the tasters have to do it blindfolded and try and guess the flavor. White Elephant Gifts
Most people have participated in a white elephant gift exchange at some point in their life. For a white elephant gift exchange, you have each guest bring a random gift. You can set a price limit, theme, or any other conditions for the gifts people choose. If the goal of your party is to have a good time and share some laughs, then you may consider requesting that the gifts are humorous or random in nature. The last thing you want is for most of your guests to show up with gag gifts while one or two people put a lot of thought into their gifts.

Regardless of how you start the exchange, during each person’s turn, they have the option of opening a new gift or stealing from someone else. The first person will have to open a gift, and the last person will have a few different options. If someone chooses to steal a gift during their turn, then the person whose gift was stolen can either steal another gift or choose a new gift from under the tree!
